Storm Drain Service Day

Susquehanna Township Stormwater Staff is seeking your help!

Susquehanna Township has nearly 5,000 inlets and Stormwater Staff are seeking volunteers to assist in reducing floods and increasing our stormwater educational outreach. Leaf litter, trash, and sediment are the top pollutants in our waterways, and this program's objective is to reduce the debris on top of the inlet and ensure that nothing but stormwater goes down the storm drain. By clearing away the inlets, the chances of flooding on roadways and debris washing down the drain are significantly decreased! We will also be decaling and stenciling around the inlets to raise awareness to illegal dumping and ensuring that only rain goes down the drain. To receive the program's overview, please contact the Stormwater Management Coordinator.

Please join us in providing a better future for our waterways by adopting a storm drain! Susquehanna Township is determined to reduce pollutants at the source and transition our waterways into healthier environments.

This program is approved as a Public Participation Credit and is eligible for residents to receive a credit on their quarterly Stormwater Management Program Fee.
