Certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professionals
The Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional certification, has been developed through the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council. This organization's mission is to educate and support professionals in implementing sustainable landscapes and green infrastructure practices for a healthy and resilient Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Their actions are closely linked to the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Stewardship of the land and water by each and every one is their most effective tool in improving and protecting the Bay. Conservation landscaping works with nature to reduce pollution, and is focused on landscapes which incorporate environmentally-sensitive design, minimize polluted runoff, conserve water and are planted with native plants.
