Veterans Memorial Park Renovations Are Completed

The long awaited renovations to Veterans Memorial Park are now completed! Opened in 1992, the park was long overdue for a facelift. There are an estimated 8,000 visitors to Veterans Park yearly. This makes Veterans Park the busiest park in Susquehanna Township. Visitors will find a wide variety of amenities including:  lighted softball and baseball fields, lighted tennis courts, corn hole play area, basketball court, and pavilion.

New additions and improvements to the park include:

• New  playground for children 2 to 5 years of age.
• New  playground for children 5 to 12 years of age of all abilities.
• Drinkable water including water fountain between playgrounds.
• Improved wheelchair access to bathrooms, fields, and playground areas.
• Renovated restrooms.
