PARK MAINTENANCE
- Our Park Maintenance team consists of the Parks Maintenance Supervisor, Park Maintenance Workers, and Park Maintenance Assistants.
- The team is responsible for maintenance and grounds management at all Susquehanna Township Parks and facilities (e.g. fields, courts, pavilions).
- The nature of this work requires being outside in all weather conditions, the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and the mobility to navigate all the terrain of the parks.
The following position is available for Summer 2018:
Park Maintenance Assistant (Park Maintenance Worker 3)
Park Maintenance Assistants help the Park Maintenance Team perform general maintenance and grounds work during Susquehanna Township’s Day Camp and Playgrounds programs. This is a part-time position working from approximately 9 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. Park Maintenance Assistants must be okay with working outside in various weather conditions and must have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. In order to perform this job, a candidate must have the ability to navigate uneven ground to reach more remote areas of the parks as needed. This position reports directly to the Park Maintenance Supervisor and also takes direction from the Park Maintenance Workers.
