Indian Wheels provide transportation for seniors who live in Susquehanna Township. Established in 1987, Indian Wheels' sole purpose is to transport residents 60 years and up to places such as doctor offices, grocery stores, hair salons, community centers, malls, etc. This service is for seniors who may not have access to other means of transportation. There are 40 volunteers who help in bringing this service to you.
If you are 60+ and in need of this type of transportation, please give us a call at (717) 909-9254, Monday - Thursday 9:00 am to noon and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or Friday 9:00 am to noon. When you call please be ready to supply your name, phone number, your doctor's name, and address. Also required is a 48 hour notice to schedule your appointment time.
In the event of inclement weather our office will be closed if the Susquehanna Township School District is closed.
For volunteer information, please call (717) 909-9254 during our office hours.
