President
George W. Bush created the USA Freedom Corps to build on the countless acts of
service, sacrifice, and generosity that followed the September 11 attacks. In
the 2002 State of the Union address, the President called on all Americans to
serve a cause greater than their own. The Volunteers in Police Services is one
of five Freedom Corps programs.
The
VIPS program provides support and resources to Law Enforcement agencies who

Special Events, Patrolling the Township Parks, Clerical Duties, Assisting
Motorists and whatever else needs to be done to assist the officer.
