Sgt Nelson started with the Susquehanna Township Police in 1984. He
wa
a veteran of the United States Air Force, and held a B.S. in Criminology from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Sgt Nelson held various positions with the department, including patrol
officer, detective, detective sergeant, and was D platoon commander.
He was a trained Evidence Specialist and an expert in juvenile law.
