From
The Recreation Advisory Committee & Recreation Department |
“The Susquehanna Township Parks and
Recreation Department will strive to enhance the quality of life and
promote the health, safety, and welfare of all Susquehanna Township
residents by providing clean, safe parks, well-developed and
well-maintained recreational facilities and a wide range of programs
and activities targeting the recreational needs of the growing
Susquehanna Township community.”
This is the Parks and Recreation Department’s Mission Statement as
recorded in our Recreation Plan. The Recreation Advisory Committee
and the Parks and Recreation Department continue to believe and
operate under this Mission Statement.
As residents of Susquehanna Township, we encourage your input on how
we are realizing these goals. Have we provided adequate open green
space, passive and active recreational opportunities, and programs
and activities that meet your leisure needs?
If you would like to respond to this question or have an opinion on
another recreational aspect in our township, please email Recreation
Director Bob Reichard at breichard@susquehannatwp.com or on our
website www.susquehannatwp.com use the information link on the left
column to respond or comment on recreation concerns.
We are always looking for dedicated employees and volunteers for
various programs and activities. Instructors with a specific skill
or talent to teach interested citizens your skill are encouraged to
contact the Recreation Department at 909-9228 Monday through Friday
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
