Neighborhood Playground Program

The Recreation Department will staff the  sites listed below from June 21 thru August  6, 2010

For ages 8 – 14

 June 21 – August 6, 2010

Open Monday thru Friday  10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

• Crown Point Park, Walker Mill Road & Aspen Way.

•  Edgemont Community Park, Locust Lane and Edgemont Road

•  Middle School Athletic Complex (behind School)

• Sara Lindemuth School

Weekly special activities at each playground as scheduled. Enjoy arts & crafts, games and more!

Wednesday field trips (require pre registration and a fee of $10 per event)

Playground Field/Bus Trips

·        June 30                Adventure Golf and Bumper Boats   in Hershey

·        July  7                  Swimming @ Little Buffalo

·        July  14                Bowling @ ABC North

·        July 21                Harrisburg Senators and ballpark lunch

·        July  28                Roller Skating @ Fountainbleu in New Cumberland

·        August 4              Pinchot Park Play Day and Picnic 

Field Trips are subject to change at our discretion. All participants must pre-register at a playground prior to the day of the trip.

Cost includes transportation, admission cost, and supervision.

Bus picks up at each playground for those PRE-REGISTERED at that site.  Playground leaders have registration forms and permission slips available up to the day before the trip.  Due to bus space, only those registered and paid by the day before will be allowed to attend.
