OLD BUSINESS
Lynn’s Report included a lengthy
discussion about the property at 2305
Canby Street and what has occurred during the recent housing code
Inspections. The housing code inspections will continue every 2 weeks
Through till December 11, 2007 and after that time a report will be made
To DJ Ray Shugars as to the findings and the recommendations.
Once the housing code inspections have stopped from DJ Shugars then
The Health Board will re-evaluate the situation..
Update also on some of the Restaurants including Michael’s Pizza and Deli
And an inspection was conducted at the Restaurant and they are doing much
Better. Michael’s Pizza & Deli passed on the first inspection and they will
Not be inspected for six months unless a complaint is received.
NEW BUSINESS
Keystone Mental Health Services was
present for the whole meeting and
A lengthy discussion occurred about what services they can offer to residents
And also a discussion concerning the ongoing case that the township has at
2305 Canby Street as to how to better help the situation and bring compliance
For the neighbors of the resident.
There was also some discussion about some other Restaurants within the
Township which continue to fail on the inspections including the follow-up
Inspections and how to get compliance with the restaurants.
There was also a discussion about handwashing to be incorporated
Within the Susquehanna Township School District. This was brought
Up by Dr. Bernard Margolis who was visiting. Lynn Roche will check
Into the matter and report back at the November Health Board meeting.
A hepatitis A and B titer test was done on October 12, 2007 where 69
Employees participated. On October 16, 2007; a Flu Shot Clinic was also
Held and 75 employees participated. Another booster clinic will be done
In December.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made for adjournment and it
was done by Dr. Mark Cohen
and seconded by Carol Peters and the meeting was adjourned at
1:04 p.m.
The next scheduled Health Board meeting will be held on Thursday,
November 15, 2007 at Noon.
