MINUTES

SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP REGULAR MEETING
BOARD OF HEALTH September 20, 2007

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Health was called to order by President Bruce Goodman at 12:15p.m. in the Susquehanna Room at Susquehanna Township, 1900 Linglestown Road.

APPROVED MINUTES

Approval of the Health Board Minutes of the May 24, 2007 and June 21,
2007 minutes were approved by Dr. Mark Cohen and seconded by Dr.
Ayodeji Bakare. Approval for the hearing minutes was also approved by
Dr. Mark Cohen and Dr. Ayodeji Bakare.
 

OLD BUSINESS

Lynn’s Report included a lengthy discussion about the property at 2305
Canby Street and how to proceed. The board was informed of the ruling by
DJ Ray Shugars to have the township inspect every 2 weeks for 90 days and
Then report back to him with the findings. The Health Board discussed and
Decided to allow the inspections to be conducted as agreed to and re-evaluate
The situation after the 90 days of inspections has occurred.

Update also on some of the Restaurants including Michael’s Pizza and Deli
Which a meeting has occurred and an inspection will occur shortly. The
Restaurant is doing much better. There was also some discussion about Price
Rite and the violations that have been present there. The situation there has
Greatly improved. The grocery store is back on a six month rotation for
Inspections.

NEW BUSINESS

There was also a discussion about having Keystone Mental Health Services
Attend the next Health Board meeting in October. Lynn Roche will
Approach the case workers. The purpose of the request is to find out more
Of what Keystone Mental Health Services does and can provide for the
Residents of the township.

ADJOURNMENT A motion was made for adjournment and it was done by Dr. Mark Cohen
and seconded by Dr. Ayodeji Bakare and the meeting was adjourned at
