OLD BUSINESS FOR THE HEALTH BOARD MEETING INCLUDED:

Lynn’s Report talked about the ongoing situation at 2305 Canby Street and the court hearing that occurred on January 11, 2008. It was a lengthy hearing and Lynn requested that for the next six months; one housing code inspection be done each month and another hearing would occur in the fall to determine the final outcome of the case.

Lynn reported also on the information received from the Department of Health and the nurses at the Susquehanna Township School District feel that they have the situation under control.

There was an extensive discussion about the posting of restaurant inspection on our website. The department of agriculture would only post that the restaurants have been completed and not the individual results of each inspection.

Two different scenarios were presented to the Health Board the Solicitor of the township will be asked to come to the February meeting to assist with the procedure to have this implemented for the website.
