Board of Health was called to order by President Richard Bronstein at 12:17p.m.
in the Susquehanna Room at Susquehanna Township, 1900 Linglestown Road. |

Approval of the Health Board Minutes of October 19, 2006 was
Approved by Dr. Bernard Margolis and seconded by Dr. Mark Cohen.

NEW BUSINESS
Lynn’s Report mentioned new businesses
that are just opening up in
The area and some problems that have occurred at some of the facilities.
Discussion occurred over temperature and sanitation concerns with some
Of the restaurants in the township.
A Flu Shot Clinic will be held at the Township Building in the Pincus
Hearing Room on Friday, November 17, 2006 from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
The flu shot clinic is open to all residents of the township. Maximum Health
Care will provide the flu shot clinic. Senior Citizens who have Medicare
Part B can have their flu shots paid for by Medicare.
There was also discussion over the possible new GIS system which the
Township is looking into to replace the current Geo Permit.
OLD BUSINESS
There was also some discussion about the
outcome of the last Health Board
Hearing concerning the property at 2305 Canby Street as to when a Re-
Inspection is to be scheduled. A re-inspection is scheduled to take place on
Friday, October 27 at 9:00a.m. As was stated at the hearing at the
September Health Board meeting; if this inspection goes well no more
Inspections will be done till January of 2007. Update: A re-inspection of
The property did occur and all went well. Another inspection is not
Scheduled to January.
There was also some discussion which occurred about the Vartan property
Of where Giant Foods is going to relocate at the old building supply area
In 2008 along with some other retail shops. Concern was also mentioned
About the increase in the amount of traffic that is going up and down
Linglestown Road.
The next Health Board meeting will be on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at
Noon.
ADJOURNMENT A motion was accepted to have the Health Board adjourn and it
