Board of Health was called to order by President Richard Bronstein at 12:13p.m.
in the Susquehanna Room at Susquehanna Township, 1900 Linglestown Road. |

APPROVED MINUTES
Approval of the Health Board Minutes of January 18,
2006 was
Approved by Dr. Bruce Goodman, and seconded by Dr .Mark Cohen. |
OLD BUSINESS
Discussion occurred over the new trash hauler and how things are
Progressing and how many complaints I have received. Discussion
Occurred over what the township is doing concerning the woody waste
Program and also concern was raised as to when the Board of Commissioners
Would arrive at a decision about the Woody Waste. Health Officer Lynn
Roche advised that the Board will make a decision at the April 20 Board
Meeting. Also there was some discussion about what to do with newspapers
And how they need to be handled for the new trash contract.
Discussion occurred over the ongoing problem with Fox’s Market and what
To do about the situation. A copy of the Health Inspection from the Hershey
Fox’s was submitted to the Health Board for their review. Another
Inspection will be occurring shortly in January and they did fail the
Inspection. Health Officer Lynn Roche stated that she will going back next
Week to re-inspect Fox’s Market and see if things have improved..
NEW BUSINESS There was extensive
discussion of the request from Josephine Knoll from
2305 Canby Street to have a hearing before the Health Board. It was noted
That this individual has brought suit against the township and so has her
Next door neighbor. Solicitor Bruce Foreman will be on hand at the next
Health Board meeting and so will Chief Robert Martin. The hearing was
Set to take place on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 12:45p.m. after the
Regular Health Board meeting. The regular meeting will begin promptly
At 12:00p.m.
It was brought up by President Richard Bronstein that new ID cards were
Needed and that Jonnienne Urban would take of that and have the new
Cards available for the Health Board for the next Health Board Meeting.
The next Health Board Meeting will be on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at
12:00p.m.
ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Dr. Bruce Goodman and seconded by
Dr. Mark Cohen at 12:41p.m.
